WHICH MATCH TO WATCH?
F A Cup day on Sept 16th 1911 would have given the modern Barnet supporter an interesting problem....which game to watch?
At Queens Road it was Barnet v Luton Clarence whilst at Underhill, Barnet Alston were playing Tufnell Spartan, both in the preliminary round.
The Queens Road `Barnet` were the former Avenue club mentioned elswhere and both clubs joined together the next season to form Barnet and Alston FC with Underhill as their home.
You will see from the results list for this season that the Luton club, having beaten Barnet had to play again in the town in the next round!
